Our Standards are Second to None

Safety is every property manager and owner’s top priority. ProClean Windows holds two important certifications that set us apart from most of our competition:

  • IWCA High-Rise Certification
  • SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) Certification

We adhere to the newly updated OSHA standards regarding high-rise, fall-protection, and other ladder safety standards. These standards were updated in November 2016 and are very important for all building owners to be aware of. Pertaining to Rope Descent Systems (RDS), it is both the building owner’s and window cleaning contractors’ responsibility to obtain and provide information that the permanent anchorages used to tie-off the roof top are certified. In situations not specified under the new OSHA rulings, we abide by the standards outlined in the window cleaning standard issued in 2001 titled the I-14. Feel free to contact our office for more information about these safety standards. Any window cleaning company working on your property should be abiding by the rules outlined in these documents.

Adhering to the new OSHA standards does not necessarily mean building owners need to spend thousands or tens of thousands of dollars on new rooftop anchors. While this may be the case, some buildings simply need their tie-off points to be inspected and certified. We are willing to offer a free consultation to any property manager or building owner who is unsure if their property complies with these new OSHA standards.
